Faith focuses the human mind which otherwise is liable to wander off in a million directions all at once preventing the individual from carrying out the two basic tasks facing any living being : 1. Survival of Self 2. Survival of the species. Other living beings do not have a wandering mind and can carry out their tasks quite capably.
